Interactive storytelling for adults
Expect to journey to a different world

This is interactive storytelling for adults.

Expect to journey to a different world in the atmospheric ballroom of Charlton Park through embodied storytelling ritual, to be entertained and moved by what you hear, and encouraged to share and develop your own insights.

Stories and myths are intercultural, interpersonal AND carry individual meaning, all of which you will reflect on as part of the event, guided by the storytellers.

To leave the timeless time of the story gently you will finish by sharing tea and cakes.

Regular price: £25 (reduced to £20 for those on low incomes). A limited number of 'by donation' places also available.

BOOKING ESSENTIAL - places reserved via email: karin@yogaandmindfulness.co.uk or on 07830 377162

Snowdrop Walk
Charlton Park
Stacks Image 900430

For walkers of all ages + dogs
(on lead please)

The Snowdrop Wood at Charlton Park will be open to visitors again this year on Sunday 24th February. From 10am-2pm walkers of all ages (and dogs on leads) will be able to enjoy the mass of 200 year old double snowdrops planted in the wood next to Charlton Place manor house.

The story is that the Prince Regent bet his white charger would be able to jump out of the first-floor Ballroom window – the horse did not survive the leap, and the snowdrops are said to be planted in memory of this poor animal.

Visitors will be able to have fresh coffee or tea and biscuits in the Drawing Room, and are asked to make a minimum donation of £2.50 towards the upkeep of Bishopsbourne’s beautiful and historical Church (St. Mary the Virgin).
