Tea & Coffee in the House
In Aid of St Mary's Bishopsbourne

Snowdrop Wood Open
10am-2pm Sunday 23rd February

The Snowdrop Wood at Charlton Park will be open to visitors again this year on Sunday 23rd February. From 10am-2pm people (and well behaved dogs on leads) will be able to enjoy the mass of 200 year old double snowdrops planted in the wood next to Charlton Place manor house.

The story is that the Prince Regent bet his white charger would be able to jump out of the first-floor Ballroom window – the horse did not survive the leap, and the snowdrops are said to be planted in memory of this poor animal.

Visitors will be able to have fresh coffee or tea and biscuits in the Drawing Room, and are asked to make a minimum donation of £2.50 towards the upkeep of Bishopsbourne’s beautiful and historical Church (St. Mary the Virgin).

Vinyasa Yoga
Followed by long guided relaxation

YOGA DAY

Nikki Austin & fellow practitioner Rosie will run another very popular vinyasa yoga day here on Sunday 29th February from 2-6pm.

This is a class that combines the benefits of dynamic sequences,(working on the yang elements) building strength, flexibility, stamina and increased blood flow as the heart rate rises; alongside the more yin elements of holding standing postures and passive stretches.
Followed by a long guided relaxation beside the open fire. Please bring all your kit, including a blanket. Wear layers for your comfort, as some of us feel the heat more that others.

Refreshments are provided after class, including tea/coffee and homemade cake. Free parking on site.

Only 16 places.

Book through the Facebook event, or contact Nikki at nikki@yogaewok.com
